We visited for our second time ever this past weekend and had such a great experience! One thing I really enjoyed was the misted fans! We went early to beat the heat but those fans definitely helped. There wasn't a wait for us, we were seated immediately and our waitress Holly was so friendly and sweet. The food was fantastic. It tasted freshly made and felt light. I was completely content with this visit and the food. The view is gorgeous and my husband & I once again locked down our love with a new lock. We celebrated our 18 year anniversary!! This was a wonderful way to commemorate our day while on this special trip.

We went there primarily for the view, and the view was fantastic. However, the service and food were marginal at best. When seated, the attendant wiped off the table, but did dry it. We had to use a napkin and dry the table off ourselves. Then a wait staff member made a comment to a member of our party, as she was getting a replacement silverware set, about her helping herself to their serving packets. The only reason we did that was because no one came and asked us what we might need. When inquired if chips would be coming, we were informed that chips are no longer automatic, but only provided if requested. When the chicken fajitas arrived, the chicken was dry. I appreciate the fact it was thoroughly cooked but really did not enjoy. Everyone in the party had chicken fajitas, and the quality was consistently marginal for everyone. In short, if you want a great view, this place cannot be beat. But if you want good service and good food, I honestly cannot recommend.

The Oasis on Lake Travis restaurant and boutique space overlooks Lake Travis and has spectacular views from high atop the Hill Country bluffs. Sunset views from the many patio deck levels; with many panoramic view-spots, are spectacular anytime of the year. The various dinning and drinking venues are bar/lounge focused and the anchor restaurant’s; The Oasis, menu is American bar-and-grill items. Note though that there are very limited gluten-free, vegan, vegetarian, and/or other healthy choices. For my tastes and preferences, I would rate the Oasis a 5, but for the shortage of healthy menu options.

From the food, atmosphere and the main reason, the VIEW! There were plenty of great places to take some awesome photos! I really enjoyed their steak fajitas and one of their signature drinks. And also their staff was very friendly and helpful! Great service.

Pros: Beautiful setting and great views. Plenty of tables available and multiple floors of restaurant. Have vegetarian and vegan options available. Cons: No one came around to fill waters. Had to ask to refill our waters many times and it was always a struggle to find someone to fill them. We would ask people cleaning up tables to find our waitress, but that didn't seem to help considering we ended up having to go find her ourselves for the check. I requested my meal without cheese and they brought it out with cheese and didn't provide an apology for this. Food came out by the time everyone else finished. Food was very average nothing special. It's really solely about the view, not the food.
